Who can apply and what we look for

Different criteria for individual observers and for host centers. Meet the minimums below and we'll be in touch within four weeks of submission.

For observers

Individual ophthalmologists applying for placement

  • Active medical license
  • 1+ year corneal experience
  • Professional English
  • Malpractice coverage
  • Sponsoring institution letter

For host centers

Institutions applying for accreditation

  • 100+ keratoconus cases/year
  • Full diagnostic kit (Pentacam, OCT, topographer)
  • CXL, ICRS, transplantation capability
  • Designated supervisor (10+ yr experience)
  • Prior teaching experience
